Pete, a devoted single parent since Sabrina’s mother died, brought her two gifts: a beautiful dress for her and a suit for himself. “This is for me, honey! I need to look fantastic. It’s your graduation, after all!” he said.

Hurtful Words
Sabrina’s rejection cut deep. “Dad, I do not want you to come. I don’t want them to laugh at me after seeing you, okay?” Pete was heartbroken but decided to attend, hoping she’d change her mind. On graduation day, he dressed up and went to the venue, cheering proudly as Sabrina’s name was called.
A Touching Surprise
Pete surprised everyone by taking the stage, saying, “I love my daughter. Sabrina, I’m so proud of you. I hope your mother would be just as proud if she were here now.” He showed a heartfelt video of their journey together, moving Sabrina to tears. She hugged him and apologized, saying, “Thank you very much, Dad! I apologize.”

Revealing the Truth
Later, Pete revealed Sabrina’s mother was alive but had abandoned her. “I could not see you as someone else’s child. You were my world, and you are my everything today,” Pete confessed. Overwhelmed, Sabrina apologized for her earlier harshness, realizing her father’s sacrifices. From then on, she was proud to call him dad.
