Adult movie star Jesse Jane, whose real name was Cindy Howell, and her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, were found dead during a police welfare check at Hasenmueller’s home.
Jesse Jane rose to fame in the early 2000s, starring in popular adult films and later working with Playboy and hosting the live show Night Calls. She also appeared in mainstream media, with roles in Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Entourage (2005), and The Bad Girls Club (2006). In a 2018 GQ interview, she reflected on how the adult industry had changed since her departure in 2007.
The police discovered the bodies after Brett’s boss requested a welfare check. It was later revealed by the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner’s Office that Jesse Jane died of an accidental overdose of cocaine and fentanyl. She was 43 years old.
