A tragic explosion in Defiance, Missouri, claimed the lives of brothers Julian, 4, and Jamison Keiser, 6, after their home caught fire Friday morning. School was canceled due to extreme cold, keeping them home when the blast occurred. Their mother, Evelyn Turpiano, and grandparents, Jennifer and Vern Ham, escaped safely. Firefighters couldn’t reach the boys in time as flames engulfed the house. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation. The Hoffmann Family of Companies, which owned the property, expressed condolences and pledged support to the grieving family and community.
