Country Singer Pelted By Beers During Performance

I’ve always found it odd when people go to a gig and decide to throw things at the performer. Unless they’re a genuinely bad person, what’s the point? Braxton Keith, who is inoffensive as they come, has been barraged by beer cans while performing at Gilmer, Texas.

During his performance, Keith was seen to be continually dodging the flying beer cans. Someone in the audience was looking for a little mid-show target practice. None of them hit the country singer, but it was distracting.

More to the point, the beer can projectiles were soaking people in the front rows of the audience. Keith stopped his show and called out the long-armed music critic. “Hey, listen up, pause this s-t,” he said to his bandmates, bringing the show to a stop.

“I didn’t come here to get beer cans thrown at me, alright? This isn’t a godd-n Gavin Adcock concert, okay?” He said to the crowd. He, for some reason, decided to reference a fellow country music star in the shout out.

It wasn’t just about Braxton Keith either, he reminded the beer can cannon man. “Don’t be throwin’ f-kin’ beers out here,” he said. “These people at the front are gettin’ wet up here and it’s gonna piss them off and it’s gonna piss me off.”

Continuing, he pointed out that there were other people in the crowd suffering from the flying beer cans. “This little girl right here’s never been to a country concert before, and it’s her first d-n time, okay? We’re gonna have a good show for her, okay?” Rant over, he continued with his show.

Don’t Involve Me In Your Beer Can Problems

Of course, the rant made its way online, and Gavin Adcock was put out by his unexpected plug. “Maybe he should learn how to handle HIS fans without bringing someone else into it,” he wrote on the Instagram post. “I do it every night without bringing anybody else up. Welcome to the big leagues, kid.

He made a fair point about the beer can problem, but he didn’t need to bring anyone else into it. People should be a little more hesitant about throwing beer cans around these days. Those tariffs aren’t making them any cheaper.
