Bondi criticized New York’s 2019 “Green Light” law, which allows undocumented immigrants to get driver’s licenses, saying it puts non-citizens ahead of Americans. She emphasized that the DOJ’s goal is compliance, not prosecution, and warned against allowing criminals and smugglers to operate freely.
