11-year-old di*s because of online trend – now family is warning others about the household item that took his life

An 11-year-old boy, Tommie-Lee Billington, from Lancaster, England, tragically lost his life after participating in a dangerous online trend on TikTok.

The trend involved inhaling harmful gases from household products like dry shampoo, deodorant, and glue to get high.

Tommie tried the challenge during a sleepover with a friend, and moments after, his heart stopped, and he died instantly.

This incident is part of a concerning pattern, as two teenage girls had previously lost their lives participating in the same challenge.

Tommie’s family is now mourning their loss, and his mother, Sherry, has taken to Facebook to warn other parents about the dangers of such trends.

She pleaded with others to talk to their children about the serious consequences of following these harmful fads, emphasizing how quickly something innocent can turn fatal.

Sherry expressed her deep grief, sharing that no parent should ever have to experience such pain. She vowed to ensure her son’s memory would help prevent other children from falling victim to similar dangers. The heartbreaking loss has now sparked a broader conversation about the impact of social media trends on young people’s safety.WATCH MORE.
