Sen. Hawley Reintroduces ‘PELOSI Act’ To Ban Congress From Stock Trades

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) has reintroduced the “PELOSI Act” to ban lawmakers and their spouses from trading individual stocks while in office. The bill allows investments in mutual funds and Treasury bonds. Lawmakers would have 180 days to comply, or face fines and forfeit profits. Gaining bipartisan support, the measure has backing from Donald Trump, who says he’d sign it.
