Born Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco in Glenwillard, Pennsylvania, Christie showed an early passion for music and began performing in his teens. He formed a longtime songwriting partnership with Twyla Herbert, creating hundreds of songs together. His family remembered him as a kind, talented, and beloved figure who will be deeply missed.
