More than 100 people were injured after an Air Force F-7 BGI jet crashed onto the campus of Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, with at least 83 receiving hospital treatment, according to interim leader Muhammad Yunus’s office. The crash occurred in the afternoon while students were present, sparking panic and chaos. Television footage showed fire and smoke as bystanders tried to extinguish the flames.
The Bangladesh Army confirmed the aircraft belonged to the Air Force.
