Michael Douglas, 80, has announced he’s stepping back from acting after nearly 60 years, saying he doesn’t want to “drop dead on the set.” The two-time Oscar winner, known for Wall Street, Fatal Attraction, and more recently Ant-Man and The Kominsky Method, last worked in 2022 and is content focusing on his personal life with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. While not officially retired, he says he’d return for something special. Douglas, a stage IV cancer survivor, will appear in one final film, Looking Through Water, alongside his son Cameron.
