Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown argued the campaign misjudged voter sentiment, saying they failed to learn from Hillary Clinton’s earlier defeat and underestimated doubts about electing a woman president. While noting Clinton struggled after her loss, Brown said Harris is likely to recover and remain active in politics.
