Alina Habba: Every Trump Appointee Is ‘America First’

Alina Habba, counselor to President Trump, called out Democrats for their ongoing efforts to obstruct his administration. In an interview on America Reports, she discussed Trump’s first month back in office and his priorities moving forward.

Habba highlighted the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which aims to eliminate wasteful spending. She dismissed criticism from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, arguing that Trump’s actions are legal and fiscally responsible.

Responding to Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s claim that Trump’s spending cuts disregard working Americans, Habba countered that the true mandate comes from voters who backed Trump’s America First agenda. She emphasized that the administration will continue to push its policies despite opposition.

She also noted that Democrats are deliberately slowing down confirmations for key positions but assured that Trump is pushing forward with executive actions. She praised new Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and described the administration’s fast-paced efforts to reverse policies from the previous four years.

Habba concluded that Trump is delivering on his promises and moving quickly to implement change.
