Tragic Motorcycle Crash on SC-390 Claims Life of 31-Year-Old Rider

A tragic accident on Saturday afternoon along SC-390 in Ipira, Santa Catarina, claimed the life of a 31-year-old motorcyclist riding a BMW S1000 RR. According to the Military Highway Police, he crossed into the opposite lane on a curve and collided head-on with a Renault Sandero driven by a 30-year-old woman, who was unharmed and tested sober. Despite a swift emergency response, the rider died shortly after arriving at the hospital. The Sandero was removed from the scene before police arrived, raising concerns about evidence tampering. Authorities continue investigating speed, visibility, and road conditions. The incident has sparked local calls for improved road safety and motorcycle awareness.watch below
