Bryan Braman, former NFL edge rusher, has passed away, his agent Sean Stellato confirmed Thursday.
The Spokane native, known for his special teams play and a key playoff punt block, played for the Texans, Eagles, and Saints before retiring after the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII win.
He is survived by two daughters.
A GoFundMe revealed he had been battling cancer since February. Despite promising CAR-T cell therapy, the illness returned. The campaign raised nearly $90,000, with support from former teammates like J.J. Watt.
“Bryan stood for strength, resilience, and leadership,” Stellato said.
