CBS announced that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end in May 2026, concluding both Colbert’s run and the long-standing Late Show franchise. “Stephen is irreplaceable,” the network said. “We’re proud he called CBS home.”Colbert shared the news with his audience, saying, “Next year will be our last season… I’m not being replaced.
