Bull Rider Dylan Grant, 24, Dies After Rodeo Accident in Texas
Professional bull rider Dylan Grant, 24, has died after being trampled during an Xtreme Bulls competition at the Wharton County Youth Fair in Texas, the PRCA confirmed.
The Wyoming native was thrown from a bull during Thursday’s event and trampled. Emergency crews stabilized him on-site before he was airlifted to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, where he later died from his injuries.
Grant, a former University of Wyoming rodeo champion, officially joined the PRCA in February 2024 and had earned over $15,000 in his career. Tributes from the rodeo community have poured in, mourning the loss of the rising star.
