President Joe Biden’s approval rating continues to spiral down as the United States enters the election season.

With these, reports say that Biden is gunning for Taylor Swift’s endorsement and maybe attending her Eras Concert to make him more appealing to young voters.

Media outlets built up how an endorsement from the pop icon could sway the 2024 presidential race.

However, polls reveal otherwise.

A survey by Redfield & Wilton Strategies for Newsweek revealed that only 18 percent of potential voters would vote for whoever Swift would endorse.

Moreover, at least 55 percent of voters respond that their voting decision is not influenced by whoever Swift supports.

The poll interviewed 1,500 respondents on January 18, the same period the popstar’s Eras Tour reached its billion-dollar mark.

The Time magazine also chose Swift as its Person of the Year for 2023.

In 2020, the popstar said she would “proudly vote” for Biden, which she claimed, “[under their leadership] America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs.”

Now, Biden’s campaign team hopes to exploit her influence in “an even bigger way.”

However, despite holding influence with many eligible Gen Z voters, it isn’t likely to survive Biden’s depressing approval rating.

To Swift’s disappointment, the 81-year-old president failed to “heal America” as the country faced wars in the Middle East and Arab countries, border crises, and economic woes.
