Despite potential judgments, Savannah and husband Justin Ackerman cherished their daughters, Kennadi Rue and Mckenli Ackerman. Born prematurely on May 12, 2021, the mono-di twins spent weeks in the NICU due to their early arrival. Savannah, sharing their journey on TikTok, emphasized their uniqueness. The girls, with a rare combination of mono-di twinning and Down syndrome, are “like one in 2 million.”
Facing criticism on social media, Savannah responded with grace. When told someone wouldn’t want such babies, she countered, “Good thing they weren’t born to you and were born to me. God knew what he was doing by giving these babies to the right parents who would love them regardless.”
