Sandra wrote us a very sincere letter.
Sandra, 32, shared her tough story with us. She’s seeking advice from our readers.

She said, “I got involved with a married man a few years back. He’s 42, and he’d been married for 20 years when we met. At first, I didn’t know he was married. We fell in love, but then I discovered he had a wife. He told me their marriage was more like a business arrangement for the sake of their kids. They had a business together, but his wife mainly ran it, and he was only involved financially.”

The relationship was very promising from the start.
Sandra wrote, “Back then, I had doubts about his story, but I wanted to believe him. I was deeply attracted to him and caught up in my feelings. He made me feel special and loved. Looking back, I realize I should’ve ended things, but I was blinded by the attention he gave me, the romantic dates, and the places he took me. I felt like I was living in a fairytale. I was naive.

About a year into our relationship, I found out I was pregnant. Despite being careful before, I took risks because I was so in love with him. I’d agree to anything he suggested, even if it seemed crazy.”
She continued, “I was convinced I was in love with him. I wanted to have his baby right away and imagined us getting married and starting a family together. I hoped he’d leave his wife for me so we could be a real couple.”

The man’s reaction was not what the woman expected at all.
Sandra shared, “I was overjoyed when I found out I was pregnant with my partner’s baby. I wanted our child more than anything. The idea of carrying a baby with someone I loved deeply meant the world to me, and I hoped he felt the same.”

But then, she revealed, “When I told him the news, he reacted differently than I expected. He told me I couldn’t keep the baby. I was shocked and heartbroken. It hurt me deeply that he didn’t share my excitement. He explained that he didn’t want more children and couldn’t openly acknowledge another child while he was still married to someone else.”

Sandra admitted, “I pretended to agree with him and even made plans for a weekend getaway. But as the time approached, I felt increasingly scared and uneasy about the situation. Eventually, I packed my bags and left for a hotel, too afraid to go with him. I decided to cut off all contact with him, promising not to name him as the father or seek child support if he agreed to leave me alone.”

All hopes were broken, but this was not all.
Sandra shared, “At first, my partner tried to convince me to do what he wanted. When I didn’t agree, he said hurtful things and told me not to come to his place. Now, I have a 2-year-old daughter. It hasn’t always been easy, but we’re doing well. I’ve kept my promise not to ask for help from him.”

Then, Sandra revealed, “His ex-wife recently messaged me on Facebook. She’s no longer with him. She wanted to talk. She found out about me and said she divorced him 8 months ago. She wants her kids to know their sister and for my daughter to meet her siblings. It’s strange to me.”
