Utah officials have released the 911 dispatch audio from the moment police were alerted to the shooting of Charlie Kirk. The recording captures the urgency and chaos of the situation as responders were notified of the incident.

Suspect Arrested
Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old from St. George, Utah, has been arrested in connection with the shooting. He was taken into custody on September 12, 2025, after a relative recognized him from surveillance images and alerted authorities. Robinson reportedly confessed to the crime in a private Discord message, stating, “It was me at UVU yesterday. I’m sorry for all of this.”

Forensic Evidence
The FBI has confirmed that DNA evidence links Robinson to the shooting. DNA matching Robinson was found on a towel wrapped around the rifle used in the killing, as well as on a screwdriver recovered from a building’s roof at the scene.
